8 Hour Negotiation

As the Senate began to discuss the extension on the Bush tax cuts, a 69 year old senator decides to give an old fashion filibuster. Not being able to sit, leave, or lean on anything Bernie Sanders gave a filibuster speech for 8 hours.
More than eight and a half hours later, after speaking almost non-stop and never once leaving the floor or even sitting, the senator concluded his remarks in which he laid out why exactly he opposes the tax cut agreement between the White House and congressional Republicans
Bernie had some real fire to his speech. This blog is a lead off from the blog before this one. Bernie disliked the decision made by Obama just like many other political figures. Nobody liked the Bush  tax cuts in the first place, and by supporting the Bush tax cuts Obama is losing his popularity. Bernie's actions hopefully spread his opinion enough to the Senate to see this decision is seen the same way that he sees it.
