Today France is been on high alert due to the recent terrorist attacks threatened by the Al Qaeda, but now France has to worry about what happens inside its boarders, now, too:
As France remains under heightened alert against terrorist attacks at home, attention is also turning to the potential danger to the country’s expatriates and interests abroad, notably from Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, the group that recently kidnapped French workers in Niger. Toward the end of last month, the government announced that it was under “reinforced vigilance” because of an “elevated threat.” It remains on red alert — its second-highest of four levels — where it has been since terrorist attacks in London in 2005.The threats already made the civilians of France scared enough, but now they have to watch their backs with kidnappings o the inside. They were never this highly securities but it comes to show that this kind of stuff is real. Terrorist threats is some serious business. These people don't just send these threats just to play around, they actually kill people by the masses, as the Americans have seen first hand during 9/11. this tragic event was a scarring experience, the French defiantly should keep their guards up.
