Confidence is Lacking

The United States is based off of a strong economy, and with a strong economy comes the possibility of it declining. During that time many people will start losing confidence in even their own country.
Leading up to President Obama's inauguration in January 2009, the number of voters who felt the country was heading in the right direction remained below 20%. The week of his inauguration voter confidence rose to 27% and then steadily increased to 40% in early May 2009. Confidence began falling steadily after that. Sixty-four percent (64%) of voters say the country is heading down the wrong track.
The Americans are starting to lose confidence in their government's system. They are starting to feel as if the United States is falling apart. As the economy declines the population starts losing money, and that is enough to make anybody angry. And now for the second week in a row, 32% of voters have claimed that the U.S. is actually heading in the right direction. That 32% probably consists of the extremely wealthy who are not affected be the economy as much. but the economy may not also be the problem. Maybe some of Obama's decisions have made the U.S. very weary, but almost all decision comes back to money through taxes rising. Also, for many homes with children, if their local schooling system fails those families may lose confidence in the government as well for allowing their children to be deprived of a proper education.
